One of the last of Los Angeles's original Industrial bands, Idiot Stare's roots reach all the way back to 1989
through their former incarnation STG. Formed in 1994, Idiot Stare spent the 90's recording their first two albums,
"Blinded" and "The Hate Cage." During this time members contributed songs to over 20 compilations and lent their
producing talents to various recordings and remixes for other bands in the genre. Concurrently, Insight 23 was
formed and released their debut album "Obsess," which was produced by Chad Bishop. Over it's existence, i23 would
add new sonic dimension and depth to Coldwave music. Both bands toured extensively and gained a national reputation
as being among the leaders of the west coast industrial scene. Artist Alliance
