Mary Ramsey - X Maniacs
Biography
Mary Ramsey was born in Washington D.C. She has been playing the violin since age 5, has worked with the Erie
Philharmonic, founded the Lexington String Trio, was one of the original members of 10,000 Maniacs and folk
group, John and Mary with long time musical partner, John Lombardo.
In 2001, Mary married Downey Mildew string player, Salvador Garza. After having penned and sung the biggest
hit The Maniacs have had to date, More Than This, Mary and Lombardo had recently released a brand new CD
and toured the west coast.
Mary is currently working on a new CD for the next generation of Maniacs - X Maniacs! Be looking for the new
CD here and a tour in Summer 2004!
